Now that I have time to edit blog posts, I am delighted to share this on my website - I am one of 2019’s recipients of Opera America’s Discovery Grants for Female Composers! Librettist Amy Punt and I will be collaborating on a commissioned opera to be workshopped and premiered in the fall by Portland State University, with a performance following in LA in the spring!
